I own the entire series of this wonderful light-hearted crime drama with the always lovely Angela Lansbury as amateur 'sleuth' "J.B. Fletcher". The series, which aired for 12 long and successful years, maintained strong scripting and acting talent that never retreated up to and including the final season, with a strong (and continuous) rotation of guests stars, all of which accounted for the shows longevity. (I also enjoyed Keith Mitchell very much when he was filling in for Angela, and felt he was so good, he almost could have had his own show!). This box set with Seasons 1-8 is comprised of some of the finest episodes of the series and would make a nice gift for any MURDER SHE WROTE/Angela Lansbury fan. Very delightful family friendly show!

I would recommend this product of Murder, She Wrote to any one who loves mystery murders --- there is also a bit of humour in most shows ---- I ordered the complete set so it is taking a bit of time to get through --- try to watch at least 2 shows a day --- I think it may be suitable for children eleven years old and up to watch ---- am satisfied with my purchase --- if you find ordering the complete 12 seasons at once too over whelming, just buy one season at a time --- Enjoy !!!! I do !!!! --- Ann
